Noynoy Aquino: The Havaianas President

Ano ba talaga, kuya?

King flip-flopper Noynoy Aquino again says that he will not raise or impose new taxes, but would instead improve revenue collection.

“By collecting them (taxes) more efficiently, we will be able to manage the fiscal situation properly and responsibly. And we are still sticking to that,” Aquino said, according to a Philippine Star article.

Wow! When did you ever STICK to that, Noynoy? Don’t you remember your retraction after you declared in front of your Makati Business Club pals that there would be no new taxes?

Well, what can we again say about Noynoy except that he is the king panderer. He will say whatever it takes to get on the good side of everyone except his critics.

I shudder to think what will happen to our poor country with such a weak person in command.

* * *

ABS-CBN is still apparently at it versus Manny Villar. One wonders what’s up with the Noynoy channel.

At Congress, ABS-CBN news reported that there were no lawyers from the Nacionalistas present during the initial discussions/hearing with Smartmatic and Comelec, when it could be clearly seen on the footage that there were.

* * *

SUCALDITO THE MALDITO: If Boy doesn't want the position, will Jobert get the call?

Boy Abunda has reportedly turned down an offer to be Secretary of Tourism. Good work, Boy!

But it underscores how seriously this new president-apparent is taking the staffing of his cabinet.

It also shows how big a hand Kris Aquino will REALLY play in government – contrary to whatever bullshit you’re hearing on the news.

Jobert Sucaldito will probably get offered the same post next.

* * *

Hocus-PCOS is the new buzzword, no matter how much Comelec and Smartmatic want to sweep everything under the rug. We ask: if there’s any significant doubt regarding the election results, does it mean Noynoy Aquino isn’t really the runaway winner we have been led to believe he is?

The Ngoy-ngoy group will offer the post turned down by Boy Abunda because he, Jobert Sucaldito (she?) is also identified w/ the yellow camp…
Remember, Willie R. (identified w/ Villar) was not favored by ABS-CBN but instead sided w/ this person…

    huag naman!

Yesterday evening, I was at Barangay meeting for PWDs. I was saddened by the fact that many voted for Noy2 because they didn’t want Erap to win. Geez!! They could have voted for Gibo or someone more deserving. WHY NOY?!!! I wanted to konk their heads! Also, they can’t stand Junjun Binay. He is worst than his father and mother. These are straight from Barangay staff and officials.

  4. mulatpinoy

Clearly, we can see how the incoming administration will be, vindictive, flip-flopping and has no sense of integrity…imagine offering the post of Tourism secretary to Boy Abunda? naman! just shows that “utang ng loob” plays a big part in the Abnoy administration…and with the Hyatt 10 being considered for other cabinet positions blatantly shows that giving back favors is in their sick agenda…sabagay, if Abnoy who has no merit whatsoever was voted for the presidency then he can appoint any tom, dick and harry to the post as long as this person “helped” him in his dirty campaign….

And if Abnoy doesn’t want to settle in Malacanang then go ahead, good for him, he doesn’t deserve to be there anyway, imagine an arrogant non-achiever in the seat of power of the country, no way! just build him a floating barge in Pasig River, maybe he’ll be better off there haha!…

“e graduate naman sha ng tourism sa ateneo”- ayos! that’s abNOY logic for us all… sigh…

OhNoy! Get the picture on Philippine Star front page of June 1, 2010. Lower portion. See what Noynoy looks like. hahaha

    HAHAHAHA! THANKS! — O.N.

It saddens me to read malicious blogs like this which does nothing but promote more divisiveness among our people. One can only imagine the psychology of someone behind these blogs, how they grew up, what hurt they have experienced, and how bitter they are now. I pray for you people, that you may learn to move on, be optimistic, and hope for the best for the incoming administration. FYI, I did not vote for Noynoy but I am hopeful that things will be better with him around. Faith, hope and love, three virtues of a good Christian. Let’s all practice it people.

GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR AMATEUR PSYCHOANALYSIS. — O.N.

    • Shikaze

Not everyone who replies to O.N.’s blog thinks the same as the blogger does. I also hope that Noynoy can stick to his words during the campaign… considering the people who catapulted him to the presidency have obviously conflicting interests. And even now as he is not yet proclaimed, his camp is already split and he’s been making a lot of noise… useless noise.

    • Abnoy - King of Divisiveness

Mahirap talaga supportahan si Abnoy. Even if one person strays slightly from their propaganda, “evil” na. Everyone who doesn’t agree with them is evil.

Instead of reconciliation, kahit mga moderate critics nagiging hardline dahil sa attitude nila.

you’re typical of the yellow army. If they can’t answer the issues directly, they resort to subjective, personal attacks at those who raised it up. These are solidly valid issues, of course with more color.

I AM A CHRISTIAN and I’m ashamed at your blatant display of arrogance. God said to “question all things”. There are false prophets out there (like those who endorse candidates and say that a particular candidate is “the anointed one”).

These blog practices faith hope and love. FAITH in the goodness of people thus explaining the hate against greed and spiritual mediocrity. LOVE for the truth. And HOPE for those overwhelmed by popularity and the mainstream media. I testify to that.

      God bless you too😀

I am for Gibo, but as Noynoy have won the election (with Hocus-PCOS or not) hands down, I as a Filipino is trying to move-on and accept the fact that Noynoy won this election.

Though as I tried to at least like Noy-noy in some ways just for the “Unity of this Country” he himself my friend is making a media exposure that won’t give him good credits nor any pogi points, but this media exposure thing made me believe that he is really… “abNOY”

Though I want this country to be better, I don’t know who will do the dance this time, is it us Filipino choosing a reportedly abnoy president, who always speak anything goes in the media without pondering much of his word if he can really do it or the presidential front-runner Nonoy who people think he has done anything though think he is the best choice since:

      1. An AQUINO
      2. No bad records
      3. winnable
      4. Popular
      5. Anti-admin
      6. Supported by many HUGE celebrity
      7. A fresh start
      8. Has the sympathy of many people
      9. Supported by INC
      10. (Save this spot for millions silly reason and unimaginable reasons)

BTW, with all this Noynoy making a rolling on the floor laughing and can’t breath for a minute decision, where are the Yellow armies now a days? Probably they’re just being quiet since they don’t know how to fight back because they themselves are a shamed to say, I AM A YELLOW ARMY this time =p

It’s not O.N. this time, it’s OH MY EFFING NOY! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! =|

Oh btw: “Faith, hope and love, three virtues of a good Christian. Let’s all practice it people.” That’s why I voted for Gibo, he has that three virtues, specially on the LOVE for the enemy thing =]

How come when some people say here “God bless you” it sounds like they mean to say “take a hike”?

You can’t have faith in the goodness of people if you hate. Truth like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What we need need are facts with evidence. Being hopeful means giving the majority the benefit of the doubt that they have made the right choice. We call that democracy.

Call my comments anything you want but I do not claim it to be a psychoanalysis and if I do then it would be amateurish.

From the bottom of my heart and I do mean this, God bless us all, God bless the Philippines.

    • Edward

Wow, now that is a holier-than-thou comment. So when WE say “God Bless You” it means “take a hike” and when You say it, it’s sincere and from the bottom of your heart. I do mean God Bless You. That God would really bless you.

How about hating “evil” in people? You cannot love what is good if you cannot hate what is evil. Not the person but the evil itself. I think the evidence is quite clear. It only takes a discerning eye to see it. Simply being hopeful on the democracy does nothing if facts on the ground prove otherwise (I won’t spoil you by spoon feeding you the facts, you have to find it yourself).

I disagree that truth is on the eye of the beholder. Truth is not relative. If truth is relative, then what is the truth? A popularity contest? It’s the truth as majority of the people believe it as true. Then the world was indeed flat before it was discovered to be round was it?

    • ALJID

      Amateur analysis? LOL!

      • marie

for all the noy2 supporters – why don’t we wait for 1 year and let me know if you still feel the same way. in the meantime, respect our comments and our decision to be analytical/critical of the noy2 administration. that is my right unless of course we have no longer rights.

All I am saying is that we should give the guy a freaking chance. He hasn’t even done anything yet as a president but everyone is already taking cheap shots at him. For now, all of these are just argumentum ad hominem, a fallacy which, in my opinion, you are all guilty of. You said you hate the evil being done but not the person? Then what’s with the name-calling? I already made the mistake of defending Gloria before except I could not take her administration’s lack of sense of justice for Marcos, Erap, Jalosjos, Leviste, Teehankee, Ampatuan, et al. That’s why even though I believe Gibo would make a good president, I did not vote for him. He is too close for comfort with GMA.

Ano ba talaga problema niyo? I could say the same thing if Erap won, if Villar won, or if Gibo won.

I really felt that it was Noynoy’s destiny to become the 15th president of our republic. Who are we to question God’s plan? Pero kapag may ginawa na siyang kalokohan sa puwesto, naniniwala ako na dapat na natin siyang labanan. Perhaps that is what God wants us to do that’s why he’s there. But then again, let’s give the guy a freaking chance first.

    • ALJID

We are on the way boss to giving him a freaking chance. Pero bago pa siya maupo, kung anu-ano nang karnibal ginagawa niya sa media. Pano na lang kaya kung officially na siyang nakaupo sa trono niya? He’s not into unity. Lately, his public speeches imply more vengeance on the Arroyo administration rather than healing and unity. And the ABias-CBN is jumping on the sin wagon. Crap, what comes out of their reporters’ mouth is so nose-achingly pungent..

      • craig_d

give him a chance? hmmmm di ba 12 years siya naupo as a legislator? may nangyari ba? alam naman natin meaning ng legislator or law maker. may nagawa bang batas na nakatulong sa bansa?

    • blissfulcow

Noy wasn’t even proclaimed yet he was so arrogant already. Strike 3 already in my book. Then now he is saying that he needs all the help he needs. Then he rattles on about appointments. Boy Abunda, Dingdong Dantes, and the like? Clearly, Noy does not know jack shit. I really want to know what those who voted for him see in him?

His sisters with the exception of Kris, are very simple and well spoken people and I am sure and I can see that they are GOOD people. But KRIS? Ohmigod! Get her out of the country before we really become the laughing stock of the world. Making peace with “Uncle Danding” regarding family matters on national television, what was that for? Just because Gibo and Danding have some rift she has to announce it to the world?

To those who refused to vote for Gibo because he was Arroyo’s “puppet”, damn, you must be really stupid. Magpapauto ba ang isang lalaki katulad ni Gibo sa isang babae katulad ni GMA? In fairness to GMA, it was during her 9 years that we now have roads and bridges connecting the country for the betterment of our economy. Don’t forget, those HI WAYS pass through Cojuangco-Aquino properties and lands, just like with Manny Villar.

Someone told me that all behind the Luisita killings and Noys catapult to what he is now is Peping C. Is this true? I am tempted to ask his daughter but I don’t have the guts to.

Though very much saddened by the turn of election events, I think we should just go on with our lives, do the best that we can do to help others, and remember that we are just a spec in this universe. There are far better and bigger things that we must be concerned about, like our earth.

Screw this new administration. Let them make the mistakes they want. Mr. Binay, I hope your son continues the projects that have done wonders for the people of Makati. Though many hate your guts, we benefit a lot and we must thank you for them.

Happy Independence Day Philippines… we still have hope. 6 years isn’t that long.

    • edyeeh

I’m sure God didn’t say that Noynoy is the one. That’s one of the fallacies the yellow army commit, thinking that winning a presidential elections is an act of God. (Hello Garci?).

For me I don’t attack him personally. I attack his capabilities as a public servant (or not being one). I actually agree with you by being open and giving him a chance. It’s so hard. So far, Noynoy being open to appointing celebrities and appointing by utang-na-loob do not point to a good sign. Convince me…
